I’m currently pausing taking on new in-person training clients while I pursue an exciting career opportunity in the fitness industry! I’ll post updates as I’m able. I’m still operating Strong Wise Touch Massage Therapy as normal, please feel free to book a massage appointment!

Hi, I’m Rob Krisel. In 2014 I transformed myself from a bored office assistant into a U.S. Army Ranger in less than a year.

I made a rapid transformation and upgrade in my physical and mental strength and fitness. You can too.

Now I have a new mission.

My mission is to get YOU into the best shape of your life.

There’s a lot of bullshit out there in the fitness industry. I want to make getting in shape simple for you.

Here’s how I plan to do that:

  • Provide you a plan that will train your body to achieve what I like to call “Full Spectrum Fitness”

  • Teach you to perform all the movements in your plan so that you can build a lifetime foundation of fitness knowledge

  • Help you figure out what’s real food and what isn’t

  • Keep you accountable for the workouts your commit to and ensure your fitness progression stays on track.

  • Motivate you to become a more badass version of yourself.

It’s simple, but it’s not easy. Having a knowledgeable coach in your corner makes getting (and staying) fit a whole lot easier, but at the end of the day - you’re the only one who can do the work. You’re the only one with the power to take control of your life and improve your health. It’s going to take sweat. It’s going to take temporary discomfort. It’s going to take making sacrifices - some may be small, some may be large.

If you aren’t interested in pushing out of your comfort zone and making a real positive change in your life and health - find another coach. I’m in the fitness industry because I’m passionate about this mission. If you aren’t ready to put in work - come back later. I wish you the best of luck.

You need to be ready and committed to embark on this journey. I don’t want to take your money if you’re not willing to do what’s necessary to get results. I have neither the time nor patience for clients who want to half-ass it and make excuses, no matter how much they pay me.

My time and energy are finite - I save it for people who meet me halfway. If you can meet me halfway, I’ll give you my all.

Now that that’s out of the way - let’s get into it.

There are plenty of Instagram bro-science “coaches” out there who will sell you an overpriced and generic program they wouldn’t even follow themselves. I’m not one of them.

I want to help you achieve REAL fitness for life. Let’s face it - the world is pretty crazy these days. You never know when you may need to call upon strength, stamina, and mental toughness to overcome a stressful or even dangerous situation.

Hopefully a life-threatening situation never occurs. But if it does, you need to be ready for it. If you haven’t been training, it will already be too late.

Many trainers take a lopsided approach to fitness - emphasizing one aspect while neglecting others. Emphasizing one attribute of fitness at the expense of others can lead to unhealthy outcomes and injuries.

At Strong Wise Tough Training, I teach a Full Spectrum Fitness approach which addresses and builds all attributes of fitness, such as:

  • Strength

  • Aerobic & anaerobic endurance

  • Mental toughness

  • Mobility & flexibility

  • Muscle system balancing & posture improvement

  • Agility & coordination

  • Nutrition

  • Recovery

This is the type of training that will allow you to live a life of abundance, adventure, and opportunity. Your body and mind will be healthy. You’ll be able to explore the world and stay safe when it throws you a curveball.

Oh, and you’ll look pretty damn good too.

 

Your program, your schedule

I’m guessing this isn’t your first time looking for a new workout program. Perhaps you purchased an expensive plan or app from some “fitness influencer” you saw on Youtube or Instagram. I’m guessing it didn’t quite work out.

Influencers are busy trying to sell their programs to thousands of people. Those programs are designed to work for as many people as possible, but they don’t take into account the differences between people’s lives, abilities, schedules, bodies, resources, etc.

Well, good news. I’m not an influencer. I’m a coach. I’m not trying to influence thousands of random people - I’m focused on you.

I want to learn as much about you and your fitness journey as possible because I know that’s the best way to help you overcome the challenges that have derailed your progress in the past.

I’m passionate about what I do and care about your success in becoming a fitter more confident version of yourself.

When I was a teenager I was painfully shy. I wanted to get stronger to build self-confidence, but I was too nervous to even go to the gym by myself.

Luckily, I had someone there to show me the ropes - my old man. He was by no means an expert weight lifter, but he knew the basic movements and was able to get me to a place where I felt comfortable enough continuing this journey on my own.

My confidence in the gym gave me the confidence to try mixed martial arts. My confidence in martial arts gave me the confidence to enlist in the military. My confidence passing basic & combat medic training gave me the confidence to volunteer for Airborne training and Ranger selection, and so on.

Along each step of that journey I had a mentor who believed in me and was passionate about sharing their knowledge.

I want to be that mentor for you.
